Household Support Fund extended to March 2026

Short-term financial support for those who are struggling to afford food, energy, water bills, and other related essentials
The Government has extended the Household Support Fund, and Teignbridge CVS has been allocated £40,000 to support Teignbridge residents aged 16+ facing financial hardship
The fund prioritises those impacted by rising living costs, especially:
• Carers
• Vulnerable People
• Living with a physical or learning disability
Funds can also cover other essentials not easily budgeted for, assessed on a case-by-case basis. However, rent/mortgage debts or arrears are NOT eligible.
Who can apply?
Applications must be submitted by:
• Voluntary and Community Sector groups
• Health and Social Care Providers
• NHS and DPT teams
• Primary Care
• Education, Police, and Fire Service
• Faith Groups
Direct applications from individuals are not accepted. Please do not share CVS contact details publicly.

Deadline: 31 March 2026 (or sooner if funds run out)

If your application is unsuccessful and you believe important details were missed, you can request a review. Where needed, CVS will consult Teignbridge District Council.
