A38 Eastbound Overnight Closure (Goodstone to Drumbridges)
We are currently undertaking essential maintenance work renewing road markings and replacing road studs along stretches of the A38 between Kennford and Looe Mills until Spring 2026. We'll work in phases under overnight closures to keep disruption to a minimum. The work will be carried out overnight Mondays to Fridays, between the hours of 8pm and 6am.
We are writing to let you know that work will be taking place soon in your area. Below is our planned works. Please note, dates can be impacted by unforeseen circumstances or adverse weather conditions.
Thursday 5 February (8pm to 6am)
- There will be an eastbound closure from Goodstone to Drumbridges. Traffic will be diverted via the A383 and local road running parallel to the A38, to re-join the A38 at Heathfield.
We’ll make every effort to ensure the impact on local community and travelling public is kept to a minimum. Please accept our apologies in advance for any inconvenience this work may cause.
